Heinz, Snap and Subtropic developed an AR game that celebrates Heinz’s legacy passion and obsession towards crafting just the perfect tomato.  Reminding all ketchup lovers that it's all about the tomato!

Subtropic developed a fully immersive AR experience with an emphasis on gaming components to position Heinz  to reinforce their core message – the ketchup on your table is only as good as the tomato it comes with. Fans of the legendary ketchup are enjoying interacting in a fun and challenging game while being reminded that good ketchup is always about having the perfect tomatoes!

Dash to perfection

Snapchatters are dropped into the game dawning a Heinz Tomato Seed farmer's hat and challenged to help their beloved tomato runner to collect the perfectly ripe tomatoes to bottle up the iconic Heinz ketchup. The tomato runner is controlled by the user tilting their head to collect, jump and dodge. The AR experience encouraged Snapchatters to replay to beat their own scores, complete in less time while seamlessly interacting with the brand the entire time.
